Delaware County is doing appointments. As of the beginning of the year June 15th was the first available appointment. Philadelphia was taking applications by appointment only and in September 2020, the first available appointment was September 2021. GOA sued them and won. They now have an on line application process.

 

There's a statewide outage at the moment. My county just posted a comment about it:

 

I wish I’d have bough stock in all of the publicly traded firearms manufacturers before all this went down; I’d have enough to put a down payment on a house and pay cash for a new Tundra by now!

 

In Allegheny county (Pittsburgh) it’s been by appointment only for awhile.

Every county can be different. Here in lehigh, it’s mail in only right now.

Got mine August 26th at the Bucks County sheriff's office in Doylestown. Waited to be called in longer than it took to get the permit. Glad I got it when I did.

 

I wonder how many recent High School Grads have any idea of what the U.S.S. Arizona was or even where Pearl Harbor is??

 

Found a couple more little treasures I had forgotten about in one of my gun cabinets. Tagged this for my boy to find someday after I make the transition. Couple of knifes that were my Grandfather's.

 

Bucks county sheriffs office posted a video today. The license to carry permits are on hold right now due to a software update that took place and is not allowing photo software to communicate with other software. A windows 10 glitch. But lucky for Doylestown office they are still on windows 7 so it has not affected Doylestown office.

 

I didn't know you can still use Windows7. I thought it can't receive updates?

I have the contents of my grandfathers pockets the day he passed. His favorite zippo,etc. I also have a couple knives my FIL gave me when I first starting dating my wife.
