Had fun at brother joes today.... last pic was joes youngest who had found mud under the snow.... I pulled him out but had to hit the throttle pretty hard to do so.... poor kid got a face full of mud and snow :-/. He said keep going!! Haha good times

 

Finally got around to ordering a replacement mirror from RockAuto for the passenger side that was cracked during the break-in.

This is how it arrived:

Sorry cant like that.. that blows. When someone took off my whole mirror parked on the street I order the whole housing with the mirror. The mirror itself sucks like get dizzy if you look at it for to long.

 

I've always like the older 4 runners. One day I'll get one.

Definitely want to look at re-gear with those 315’s. Are you auto or manual trans?
With the manual you can get away with the sizing up for a little bit but with the auto trans you’ll cook it in short order.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! More snow on the way today. No real plans except to watch the Super Bowl. Tomorrow I head down to Hamburg to get the truck serviced.

Christian and I camped at Lackawanna state park 2 years ago in August.... what a blast we had! Weekend thing. We brought kayaks, fishing poles and mountain bikes. The bald eagle that flew over us on the lake was just a beautiful site! The fishing was so so but the mountain biking was top notch in our book!!! We were wore out by the time we left! Our camp was situated at the top of the mountain which made it fun to hit some fast trials and not so fast ones. We biked 10 plus miles on that weekend getaway! Downfall to that camp spot was to bike all the way up to camp.... good times
I made the kid put up his first tent, make fire and cook some hotdogs.... gotta do it again sometime. Oh and the weather that weekend was in the 60’s at night and 70-80’s in the afternoon. Wasent bad at all cuz I hate sleeping when it’s HOT and sticky.

 

Good Morning folks . Super bowl Sunday...I watch mostly for the commercials . They are some pretty ingenious( at least in the past) ads. Lets see what they do this year.

Sounds like you had a great weekend back then Dave. Have you ever stayed at Ricketts Glen S.P.? It's in Red Rock. Great hiking, kayaking and fishing, but because of the mountain trails not really good for biking. They have regular as well as primitive camp sites.

Have not. Looked into it but was alittle further of a drive. Wanna get into the national forest thing this year. See where that goes. Can do some off-roading and biking! Best of both worlds

 

Our property touches the State Park on it's north eastern edge and the Nature Conservancy added some biking/walking trails to property they acquired that also adjoins ours. The hot air balloon company we crew for launches from the State Park often, too. This was from a sunrise flight December 2019 where we launched from the State Park - Lynn and I got to fly that day. Picture was taken looking from the northwest side of the lake looking southeast.
