Anyone who gets it receives up to 14 days paid sick leave (at least that was the policy last I looked). Anyone exposed is placed on 3x daily + entry and exit temperature checks. Anyone symptomatic is sent to the doctor immediately. Not reporting exactly who is positive is one of those gray areas of HIPAA, so companies are just covering their asses there.

Yes sir. I saw another story on the local news a few minutes ago. For the 9th consecutive month, PA has had record breaking and ever increasing revenue from online gambling.

I think we got 10 to 12" of snow in my town yesterday. Thank god it was a very powdery snow and easy to clean up.

currently I’ve tested positive , so 5 of us are off for two weeks. The other 4 because we work in close proximity.

We have heard of just about every company giving you paid time off.. not my shit hole. Hippa, yeah didn’t really think about that. But really you would think they would want you to know who is sick. I work for a large utility but each shop only has a few guys at it. If someone is not here one day everyone knows who is off and why.. because you know even grown men gossip like school girls lol

We don’t get paid time off either. When I filed for unemployment last week I checked the new box stating. “Covid-layoff”

I'd have to pass 3 just to get to AOAA, Rausch, KORE, or GMF. I refuse to get ez pass. Turn pike just passed a 45% increase for non ez pass users. Forget all that noise.

The State has been talking about adding more toll roads or bridges the last 30 years if not longer .

Just like the fuel tax goes to pay for everything but the roads just like most tax revenue the more they get the more they spend.

Although I am surprised any Bridges in the liquid Brine use areas have not had a major failure

Good morning and happy Friday to everybody!

Where I work early on they thought Covid was all a big hoax and our owners here refuse to wear masks for the most part. When I had it back around Thanksgiving I was told to stay home but no mention was made of paying me and we don't get paid sick days so I told them straight out I would be filing an unemployment claim. With it being Covid related PA UC waives your waiting week so I didn't lose all that much money. Sadly by that time the extra money from fed had expired or I would have made more money being laid off than if I'd worked. Boss asked if I wanted to use vacation time and I just laughed. I wasn't on vacation so why should I use that?

If PA puts the tolls on those bridges they're talking about that's about criminal. We already have some of the highest gas taxers in the country and our roads still suck. Just about any time I want to travel north I cross the I-83 bridge into Harrisburg and my g/f works there for the state so once she's back to working in the office that would mean a toll every day of the work week.

    Private profits.

It's the American way as seen back to the financial crisis and too big to fail: privatize the profit, socialize the risk.

    Morning folks!

We didn't get near the snow they were calling for, but got ice. Glad I have the 2021 with the Toyota Connect. Started it up 10 minutes before leaving work and it was mostly thawed. Thinking it might be worth the $80 a year... It did get absolutely filthy though, and this was before heading home last night...

Yeah. I remember the days of getting out of work, starting the vehicle - with snow falling on the seat or door jamb as you open the door, then digging out the scraper and scraping away, waiting for the vehicle to warm up enough for the defroster to help. You would spend 15 minutes in the parking lot when all you want to do is get home.
