Well Adam after checking the forecast, I may wait until Wednesday to wash my truck. I wear sketchers @ work also, but not ST. Not a good idea wearing worn out shoes, especially if you are walking many hours on concrete. Take it from an old guy(me), wear good shoes. Lecture over....

 

I know, I know. Spend a buncha $$$ on a truck, but not a $100 on shoes. Spend about 11 hours a day, 4 days a week on concrete, bar grating, and steps. Then "jumping" off sorters and other crap. I'm not required to wear steel toes, but it's nice to have. (Also like to buy the electrical hazard ones working in the 480V panels.) Can balance stuff on the tips of your shoes, that and the occasional piece of metal falling off and hitting your foot from thinking I had it welded in place Now, if I can remember watching my head leaning over checking belt tracking and getting slammed by a fast moving box

If you have kids, I 100% agree with this. If not, well I’m pretty sure many wives and significant others could and would find a replacement... just saying...


It does make me feel warm and fuzzy inside thinking your way though.

 

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!! Shockingly, we are supposed to get 1 to 3" of snow today.

Quiet weekend for us - looking forward to being able to do some outside work here on our place.

Good morning everybody. Monday so it's back to the grind for most of us.

 

Looks like it's just going to be a bit of a nuisance for us here. Starting as snow then changing to rain.

And everything including the roads are covered in about 1.5" snow again. Oh well. It'll melt and wash away with the rain today.

 

My area they are just calling for rain. Supposedly to start around noon
Hopefully we can get some windshield done before it rains

Successful FedEx truck recovery on a steep hill by my house.

 

Well I'm glad I didn't have to go anywhere, they just shut down both roads outta town. Instead of plowing/salting they just closed it... PennDot didn't even go through town yet, I had to use 4wd just to get to Sheetz as there's a nice layer of ice under it. WTF!?

 

Well we only got rain like I expected.and its pouring. Got 5 windows done. Not sure if we are gonna get anymore done. Hopefully next customer has a garage if not, gotta reschedule
