Thx! I'll take some side effects if it allows me to eventually resume a more normal life.

Geese have been known to make mistakes in the past .

I hope not this year another few warm days and the Bob Sled run that is my driveway will be safe now once you start your committed to the bottom of the run.

100% agree. I will gladly take a few days of side effects if this means I can get back to drinking some beers at a bar, catching some concerts or simply going to the movies and dinner without worrying about this BS virus.

Are you going to be hauling all this fine equipment back home or does it just go to the next job??

Saw several more flocks of geese this morning. And, we've noticed a huge drop in the number of migratory birds that visit our feeders the past two days. And, I just noticed several Red Wing Blackbirds have returned. All good signs...although we'll surely still have some cold and snow.

For me the indicator has always been the daffodils beginning to emerge and the crocus's blooming. This just started within the past few days here.

But of course I've seen snow on daffodils before... :(

Here's hoping we're done with the white messy bullshit! :fingerscrossed:

Crocus are blooming in our yard. My wife says the first to come up, at least with what we have planted.

    Morning PA!

Yesterday was beautiful! A little windy, but not bad. Got the interior all cleaned up on the truck and got to apply some 303 to the plastics. Got a nice exterior quick wash as well!

Decided while it was warm out I better get the battery for the mower out of the basement off the charger and throw it on. Started right up and ran like it never sat! Glad I found a place that sells ethanol free gas.

I am going to take advantage of the warm, dry weather to plant two rose bushes and dig a hole with a post hole digger. The rose bushes replace the two that died last year; we have about 10 that run along our driveway. The hole is to bring a water line outside my foundation/basement wall so that I can put a frost free faucet in so that I can clean my truck more often.

I did that on lots of old Dodge slant sixes. It was quite satisfying to take a noisy engine and hear it pick up, smooth out and quiet down as you worked the valves. Back when vehicles were fun to work on... :pout:

Good day for that. The ground is still wet and easy to dig. Sigh.....wish I was at the cabin. :)

Snow blower is back in the shed, along with all the snow shovels.

If we get a foot of snow next week I'm sorry.

Easy is best, especially at my age. :( Although the wet clay will stick to the shovel and post hole digger. The boots are going to get muddy.

Oh so you're THAT guy! One nice week and everything goes away  I contemplated putting mine away, but I've seen big snows all the way into May.
