That I assumed. Maybe what I call crab apples differs. When I hear of crab apples I think of these apples no bigger than a quarter or 50 cent piece and very, very sour.

Another afternoon working on Ginger. I should have bought one more pump to use on the transfer case, I didn't want to cross contaminate the $$$ super special Toyota oil. Came up with a work around, next time another pump.
Rotated tires, 24,000 miles - original brakes look like new but the tires are down to 5/32, new ones will have white letters!

Also sprayed some RP-342 Cosmoline all around the rear frame area since I had the spare tire down. This is neat stuff, seems to flow well and not drip too bad, one can covers quite a bit of surface. Next time I service my daily I will spray some around and monitor how well it stays put.
Not to start a :crapstorm: but I see why these trucks have a rusty frame reputation -- everything under there is made of just about sheet metal compared to the old trucks I have.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians and welcome to another week of those things people call work days.

What a gorgeous day yesterday was - and today looks about the same. Field mower comes out today and might be a good day to wash off the truck.

    Be safe out there!!

    Morning PA!

Funny you mention this. This is what I've decided to use on the whole frame on my truck. Might not look pretty, but should serve its purpose. I'm still not sure Toyota completely corrected the frame issues. I need the truck to last a while so I'm gonna do everything I can. Technicians might not like working around it though

I thought that was the point of using a Camry engine in a truck.

I decided it was time to take down the old swing set that my father in law built decades ago. It took a minor hit when the tree fell but it had been showing signs of wood rot for a long time. I also got out the DR Field Mower - another thing my father-in-;aw bought maybe 15 years ago. Sprayed a little starter fluid in the air intake and she fired right up after a few cranks. I spent a few hours clearing brush today and will spend a lot of hours walking behind it in the coming weeks.

Well, if there winds up being an April snow storm, it's all my fault. Wanted to swap where the Tacoma and Camry sat in the garage so I had to put the snowblower away to get the Tacoma in there.

Kinda half-assed put everything away. I still need to take everything out and re-organize as I'm running out of space and need to arrange it all differently. Right now more stuff is starting to be hung from the ceiling...

I did the same with the snow shovels and sleds this past weekend. Time for them to hibernate until late Fall or early winter.
