I’m currently in an SR ACLB, and other then a daily driver I use it to tow but honestly will never take it off road and hit mud. I always look at Tacoma’s with out the black fender flares and wonder why they look so weird. Lol my only requirement is a 6 foot bed, as I hear the 5’s are “useless”. I was eyeing Ram and Ford, but the price and capabilities are overkill for what I would use it for.

Eventually it would be great to do upgrades to it, such as suspension, exhaust, and a few cosmetic mods. Lockers and such are of no need to me as I do not go off road, and my current 19 SR has gotten me through the snow and such. Also I had a wrx and always was annoyed by the “leaf vacuum” on the hood as it will fill up the top mount rad. Lol my only requirement is a 6 foot bed, as I hear the 5’s are “useless”. I was eyeing Ram and Ford, but the price and capabilities are overkill for what I would use it for.

I’ll have to stalk and see if I can find one of yours, it’s been awhile. Lol it’s used as a daily driver, and in the summer I tow and use it to haul mulch(if I don’t use my trailer). Looking to upgrade from the SR where I have to put my key in the door to unlock it. Do not do off-roading, but in the future would like a small lift, exhaust, and cosmetic mods. Hoping it will be my last truck by for a few years. my only requirement is a 6 foot bed, as I hear the 5’s are “useless”. I was eyeing Ram and Ford, but the price and capabilities are overkill for what I would use it for.

That was my thought on not needing a locker or crawl, while I’m sure it is always nice to say you have them. I never go off-roading, but my truck does see rain and snow, but my current SR has gotten me through it all so far. my only requirement is a 6 foot bed, as I hear the 5’s are “useless”. I was eyeing Ram and Ford, but the price and capabilities are overkill for what I would use it for.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Happy Friday to those of you who still worship at the altar The Time Clock. :D

I was expecting some significant rain last night according to the weather report - had a band come through about 10. Driveway was mostly dry this morning when I walked the dogs. Radar shows another band coming this way but nowhere near what I'd expected.

We have one of those Espresso machines that grinds the beans for a cup at a time. I've been nursing it along for the past few weeks - yesterday it finally got to the point where I had to order a new machine so I'm praying the old one lasts until Monday. I don't play well with others without my coffee.

No big plans for me. Probably just spend some time running some errands in my truck with the "useless" 5 foot bed. ;)

Nice , and also good luck. Probably the best move you'll ever make. Now a lot of vehicles have cameras and sensors attached to the windshield, do u take those jobs on also? U have to calibrate those afterwards? Didn't u say a while back u have to fight traffic for a 4 o'clock Friday team meeting lol well no more of that $hit!!

Yes most all new cars have cams. The trick is not to unplug them. Just let them hang. That's just a money grab for companies like safelite. If you unplug then they have to be recalibrated. Its like unplugging your battery everything has to be reset. Same concept. As long as they aren't unplugged havent had any issues with them.

I wont be accepting any insurance work for awhile tho. Too much of a headache. After seeing what my current boss deals with. Me and my bro specializes in fleet vehicles. We already have account with a big electric company and trucking companies. Just gotta make it more legit now.

Good morning and happy Friday to all the working folks! Glad this work week is soon over. We're down a few bodies in my office and no signs we're replacing them anytime soon so those responsibilities have been added to myself and one other staffer. We're hoping at some point some of the paychecks of those lost workers finds its way into our envelopes. Keeping me busy though so that's a good thing at least.

Staked down the trampoline yesterday. We've had it almost 2 weeks but I was lax in getting the stakes in. When I saw the weather report yesterday, I thought to my self, "get to it!" My empty garbage can has blown over once, even with a brick on it. I put 2 on and so far so good.
