My own fault, the belts were squealing earlier in the day and I forgot about it. Then it threw a low oil pressure fault for some reason and the guard panicked. Tightened the belt ran it back down to temperature and Atlas and I headed on down the highway.

I think I would rather a guard that takes notice then one who ignored a unit not running and the warning light displayed .

Even at this place in the Chain a Load of meat is still expensive.

I only had one experience with a Karen. She actually had me banned from her business because while working on her equipment I rolled my eyes at her. On a subsequent visit by another tech she asked what he was doing there as she had banned him. She eventually removed the ban on me after several months and then introduced herself to me on my first visit back, after the ban, as if she had no idea who I was.
I totally get the Karen thing. In case you are wondering, her legal name was in fact Karen.

I've never seen wear like this in person, only on the internet. Pretty sure these could be the plugs that were installed when we put the engine in 15 years ago. Installed a set of NGK's and called it a day!

Anywho, here's a somewhat photogenic photo I took out and about.

We had 2 PT Cruisers years ago :frusty: , per the manual the plugs were a 30,000 mile interval. Sometimes it would start skipping before the 30K. The plugs would be destroyed like that. Changing the plugs required pulling the upper intake manifold, I got better at it...

Despised those cars more than any other I have ever worked on. The best jobs were only a p-i-a, even to add oil was inconvenient.

Edit: The wife liked them -- I like her, that is why we had 2 of the damn things.

Yeah. I am washing my truck today too. It's going to rain later in the week but this time of year, around here, you don't usually get a week or more of rainless days, so you just got to do it and hope for the best.

Yea how about that , just a few years ago he was doing local family tournaments (father, son) then he did another buddy buddy tournament, then onto Lake Erie tournaments, then some regional tournaments, all while working long days then taking weekends off , then came the bigger tournaments, then some small endorsements and the whole time buying selling boats , equipment, second and third hand stuff....... Then he wanted to go full time . Then I guess the rest is history. He loves to fish , how about that job , paid to fish. Lol.

I have a friend with kinda the same story but he is back to fishing small tournaments and guiding some. Joel Richardson, don't know if you've ever heard of him or not.

I dont but ill keep an eye open. If or when I see Matt I'll ask. From what I see , it's a lot of travel , alot of practice, it seems demanding. I guess u always want to better yourself, find better holes, then that changes with the season/weather.... always practicing for future tournaments at different lakes/areas.... the more I type the more this sounds like fun!
