Anyone know a good brand for underbody shield? To protect my cat converter, and my work interpreter got her cat stolen.

I feel your pain! Our office once had 6 people in it and we're down to 2 of us plus one guy "working remote". The guy working remote either needs to return to being onsite or they really need to cut him loose. He was undergoing some medical treatments and I understood fully last year how Covid would have put him at risk. He's now vaccinated along with those of us he'd be within any range of for transmission to be a possibility but he wants to keep working form home. We get multiple emails, calls, and texts to ask questions and my coworker and I are near constantly having to fix stuff he's screwing up. For whatever reasons the owners here love him and think the business can't survive without him.

@Devious6 Afternoon Mark. I was wondering how you like your taillight disable mod? Have you tried it out after dark? Thoughts? I am considering this mod. Thanks.

Good afternoon!! I have not had a chance to use it at night, yet. I got tied up and forgot to go set it up - will probably do it after dark tonight. Everyone I've seen post about it says they are really happy with it. The harness is well made.

Mail is super slow every where what used to be 3 days is now 10days plus.

It sucks to get statements after the due date is past.

At night, the combination of the light from the reverse lights and the license plate lights (especially if you have LEDs) tends to wash out the picture quality from the back-up camera. The DIR mod turns the license plate camera off when you are in reverse and improves the quality of the view you get when backing up.

Sad day in PA. I took the wife for lunch and parked on the street in front of the restaurant. I went to pay for the parking at the kiosk and a guy asked if that was my truck? I said it was and he pointed at a lady half parked in front of me and said she hit it :annoyed::annoyed:. Not even 3 weeks old and
    [IMG]
And the worse part is she had a 1994 Toyota Camry ( not even in good condition)...fortunately we got a cop on scene and her insurance has already been in touch with me. :censored::censored:

The officer that showed up to file a report was a nice guy. Asked if I was in the service, when I told him I was, he thanked me for my service and I asked him if he was and he said he was so I double thanked him for his service (military and LEO). He then started talking about my Tacoma and said he has an "02 and loves it. Mean while the lady that hit me was getting impatient o_O because we were talking trucks instead of the accident. Finally he finished and left. Deb and I had lunch but it wasn't the same. We'll see how long this takes to get repaired.

Every vehicle I've owned in the past ~8 years has had a back-up camera and they've all worked flawlessly. Those vehicles have all been Subarus and Toyotas, so that might be the reason.

I do have a buddy with a Ford F150 whose back-up camera and reverse parking sensors failed within 18 months of buying it new - about 3 years ago. So either Ford's parts supplier(s) or Ford's interface was the issue there. Seems to me like it was the interface (ECU and/or programming) since both the sensors and the camera failed, but who knows? :notsure:
