    One of the long distance motorcycle rallies I used to ride in was always held over the Memorial Day weekend and a mandatory stop for all riders was at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery to pay respects to one particular person interred there. A former long distance motorcyclist. The sight of all those flags representing all those servicemen is something to be seen. Just the memory of it still chokes me up.

    Hope everybody had a great Memorial day! Didn't work too hard personally, but I did get the truck cleaned up. It has rained atleast once a day for several weeks so the truck had gotten quite filthy. My commute is mostly backroads with a bunch of farms so it was quite muddy oddly enough. That and driving home at 11pm there's quite a many bugs out at that time o_O

    Yesterday turned out to be a a nice weather day here - got the grass cut although it took about 4.5 hours since the Zero Turn is down for maintenance and I had to use the garden tractor. I was definitely the turtle and not the hare.

    I also got the truck washed, waxed and cleaned out. And you all thought retirement was a vacation. Wait. It is.
