Of all sides, the North side is the place to be. I live out East (Greensburg) and it sucks getting into town.

Plus you have McNight Road, which has every store imaginable in a 3 mile strip. If I was to move out of Greensburg, you'd find me somewhere in the North side.

You mean north side or north hills?

north side is one of the worst places to live in the city with regards to crime. really nice houses, though.

north hills is surburbia. mcknight sucks ass when trying to go somewhere on it whenever it's around christmas. they don't call it mcknightmare for no reason :)

Bellevue is a crazy house... but our Bellevue is a little slice of heaven! quiet, small, good people. I grew up in Greensburg, and lived in Irwin for a while, i just could not take traveling the Parkway every day for work...

No, I definitely meant the North Hills. I was on the North Side a few weeks ago looking for the Pittsburgh Children's Museum. There were some side streets we turned down where we rolled up the windows and locked the doors.

And yeah, I had a friend that lived on McNight road. He moved specifically because of the shitty morning commute down that road. It's still nice to live near it where you can access the stores / malls if necessary. Similar to Robinson, you have everything you could possibly need in a short strip. But living on it and driving it everyday...no way!
