Same here. My pet peeve is the COVID masks. Around town and in store, even on airplanes they don't bother me, but we have to wear them even when inside equipment and they most definitely are not arc rated. I bought a few that were cat2 but they were about the least comfortable thing I ever encountered. Fingers crossed they'll give us some leeway soon.

 

Same , we sport cat 2 and a paper mask but once inside the electric rooms we ditch it.

Got the drive belt on the mower... What a pain in the ass. Thank god the neighbor was around to help. Looks like rain so glad I could get my mowing done. Now me and the dog hanging and having a couple Busch Lattashope everyone is enjoying their Saturday

 

I've just done a fuckload of welding today.. IDK what my employees have accomplished tbh. Been too busy to babysit.

Now I'm eating a freeze pop cooling off.

 

Been waiting to fill positions for refrigeration techs and electros at my plant for months. They said it's been hard to find qualified techs. Good help is hard to find. I work with 2 guys in my EMT department that have been here over a year and still can't connect to a PLC with rslinx.

 

We've been trying to find NH3 guys for like 18 months.

Haha glad we're not the only ones in that boat. It seems nobody wants anything to do with it, and our ageing process systems aren't helping with that.

 

I got work tonight driving the cab so I slept in today. I walked outside like 45mins ago and said eff that went right back in side. Humid as shit out there today.

 

Our system is like 5 years old.. We offer to send people to GCAP on our dime.

 

Thats great but I believe there are people that are untrainable. I've seen it , work with them.....

 

Everyone can be trained to a certain level. Sure, some stop at not shitting on the floor, but it's still something.

 

We're the bastard children of our parent company. Our products aren't marketed like the other ones under the same umbrella. They don't want to pay for upgrades. It makes them money for cheap and they intend to keep it that way.

Yeah, beef slaughter. About 700 head a day looking to hit 1000 in the next year.
