Morning Pa! First task of the day is enrolling Baby Addie in a college savings plan. I can avoid the enrollment fee if she is signed up before her six month birthday, which is the 28th of July. Plan is PA529, has many great features. Happy Sunday all!

If anyone wants a full body work out, outside, in the fresh air, instead of a stinky gym. Come on over and pick up the axe and start swinging. Take what you chop if you want. I've got plenty, with 2 more full size trees yet to come down.

Nice. One good feature of this plan, anyone can make a contribution through the Ugift service. Would make a great birthday or Christmas gift along with regular presents.

    Afternoon PA Folks.

Moving is one of the worst things I have had to do, but the rewards are worth it John. Enjoy your first night in the new house .

It is a great gesture that you did for these folks Dave. Trust me us old folks need youngun's around to help out sometimes:D. I find I can't do things that I di 20 years ago (or they are a hell of a lot harder). Your deeds will definitely get paid back to you down the road. Thanks for your caring.

No plan like a good plan Doug and a college fund for Ms. Addie is a good plan.

    Afternoon folks!

Kinda of a busy start to my day/afternoon. Had to run to Harbor Freight to grab some 1/2" metric sockets as this arrived Friday...

Camry needed brakes. At only 31K the front rotors were warped; any little bit of heat and it would shimmy like no other! We drive somewhat aggressively and the mountain adds to the amount of braking we do. So, it was due for an upgrade!

Was surprised at all the corrosion built up this early on. Guess 5+ PA winters will do that!

Everything was cleaned up and lubed. Put back together and it's ready to go!

Took it for a test drive to bed in the new pads and I really like the Raybestos pad/rotor combo I went with. Seems to stop a whole lot better!

Garage cleaned up so now all that's left to do is kick back. Plenty of beer in the fridge so I got that covered

Good afternoon all! I could use some help with something kind of odd and hope someone near Philly might be able to help me. I'm doing a scavenger hunt type motorcycle rally coming up and one of the bonuses is for a picture of a city sign indicating the town population of over 500k people. I know Philadelphia has enough residents but have no idea if such a sign might exist or where it might be located. Anyone? A pic of the sign and GPS coordinates would be awesome if such a sign exists. Thanks all!

I'm gonna be doing new pads and rotors up front on the taco this wed at my brothers house before I head down to Florida for my vacation. They aren't that old but they suck. Probably the worst set of pads and rotors I've had.

I don't think I have ever seen a sign with the Philadelphia population on it.

I'm really liking the Raybestos Element 3 line. That's what I put on the Talon as well. Surprisingly enough they're pretty affordable. Couple years ago I put a set of rotors and pads on the Jeep from Carquest. Honestly not impressed as they're pretty rusty looking and don't stop as well as I think they should. Was trying to buy local, but from now on something like that is coming from Rock Auto.

I really like those coated rotors, no more rust. An d they really don't cost much more.
