Being Short help seems to be a constant problem .

Can`t get more help??

Vacations ?? random days off ? calling off due to paper cuts?

 

I’m going to put in for a week off soon. I need to unplug.

 

That must be one heck of a paper cut !?!

 

Right up there with a broken nail!!

 

We had a guy leave work because he had a splinter in his finger. Toughen up buttercup, this guys not gonna last long

 

Years ago I ran a machine at an old job that took 4 large rolls of paper, ran them through a series of rollers and through a rotating knife that would then cut them to length for use on our printing presses. Came in one night on third shift to see the 2nd shift operator wearing an eye patch over one eye and asked what had happened. Machine started jamming up at the end where the paper would stack on a skid and as he grabbed a couple of the 4 paper thick sheets to throw them out they came right across his left eyeball leaving him with 8 paper cuts to his cornea. Yeah, you can have a paper cut that's that bad.

 

I think you kind of proved the point though… with a severe paper cut to his eye, he threw on an eye patch and went back to work it sounds like… impressive!

 

Not sure what type of work you do but he wouldnt last long in the glass industry. I get cut on the daily. And the glass splinters are the worst cuz you cant see them. Easiest way to remove them is with a box blade.

 

Btw good morning pa peeps. Replaced the shit brakes on the truck last night went with oem pads. And can feel the bite so much better. Like nite and day difference. All packed up ready to hit the road at 10pm.

Was waiting for a customer to come to my house so I can replace his back window and door glass ex girlfriend threw a brick threw. But now hes beat I told him to be here at 8am still no show. He was buying used glass cuz I couldn't find new front any of the warehouses.
This glass shortage is insane. It's a good thing the business is slow right now, cant find any glass.

 

My wife says come do our floors please! Looks fantastic!

Oh let me guess, u have to wear long sleeves, harness, hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses and they wonder why its not done yesterday. Keep hydrated my fellow TW brother.

hi guys..
just wanted to pop in to say thank you for all the well wishes and prayers for my wife.

She's now in Philly, with a great team at her side.
Too soon to tell where we stand, but tiny bits of progress day by day, which is better than the alternative.
