    @Arcticelf

    Driveline vibe is pretty much gone which is nice. As @HomerTaco cautioned me it is a little low for highway. 65 is really the comfortable cruising speed. Aside from highway it feels much better. I'll have the trailer behind it later this week to get my sliders from sandblasting. That'll give me a better idea. Can't wait to get this project completed and shake it down.

    I'll have some trd beadlocks in a couple of weeks if that is what your looking for.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! This really has been a wet year for us here in NEPA - wettest in my 17 years here on Mighty Mortgage Manor. We got showers off and on all day yesterday.

    Despite the rain, I was still able to work with our contractor to start dealing with some wood rot issues on our stable. The front part of the building dates back to the late 1800s - the sill beams were laid on stacked stone. All the beams are hand hewn and put together with wooden pins. At some point, a larger barn was built and this one became a stable with stones put down inside and then covered with concrete. Over time, the sill plate in the front absorbed moisture and began to rot. We cut the worst section out and replaced it with pressure treated lumber - still have to scab in a few smaller pieces and then repair under the window, replace the lower exterior boards we cut down since they were also starting to rot on the bottom, and the put on new board and batten. So much for retirement.

    here is a pic of what they are. I have 5 of them and looking for $700. They have 285 nitto terra grabber on them, but they are really getting down to the end of their cycle. I wheel, so there is some rock rash on the beadlocks rings. I can take more detailed pics of each wheel if you're interested.

    I am still waiting on my wheels, but they are supposed to ship Saturday. It may be a few weeks until they're available.

    Good morning. Light rain is falling at the moment. It is supposed to be an all day rain. I'll look for a break in the weather to get the dog out to do her business. She does not like walking in the rain. Other than that, today is a lazy day...except for trying to get my grandson up early to get him back on track for school. This has not been an easy chore so far.

    I hear you. Usually by now, I might get up to 2 weeks before I have to cut the grass, not a few weeds. I cut it on Saturday. I'll see how long it takes to get at it again. Is it Fall yet? LOL.

    That's the only thing that bothers me. Late August I should be mowing the buckwheat once every 2-3 weeks.

    Right now I'm mowing every ~5 days and barely keeping up.

    Thanks for the reply. Ideally I would like them unmounted and also as little scratching as possible. So I think I will pass but I appreciate it. Thank you.

    Happy hump day PA, did another round of log splitting. Got another load to pick up with the trailer next week. One pile of gum and one of oak, variety is the spice of life.
