I was going to have the kid mow the lawn today but it was just too wet from the rain this morning. I think we’ll have to tackle it tomorrow.

 

Anyone know of any decent quality light bar companies that don’t import everything?

 

Nice! Nothing like a quick wash!! Christian and I finished the school yard and baseball field… brother joe won’t have to do much but some trimming work… oh and township… but we like to do that together …

 

I would prefer to buy from an American company with American made products but I am tempted by a light bar at tractor supply… it will be a bar for my tractor after all

 

If it's for your tractor just get something from caliraised.

@Fifthwind Ha! That’s been a thing for a few months now, became a Battalion Chief with my volunteer department in January. A little bird informed me that part of the reason I was looked at for the job, was because they watched me pushing through school and the books. It was a good feeling to know my hard work wasn’t in vain.

@RustyGreen Ive only had that with one thing so far in my life, but it was out of my control. So I’ve made sure I never have it happen to me again, I actually turned down applying for a job at this site before. But only because I wasn’t sure I could do it while working on my degree path. So. This will be my chance to see if it’s something I want to, and am capable of doing. At least until I decide what’s next lol.

I’m just excited that I can hopefully make more off road trips now!!

Hahahaha! I was fighting for my replacement chiefs vehicle to be a Tacoma. But the boys want big trucks.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Worked on the stable yesterday - had to do some concrete patching along the section of the floor where the new beam section went in. The original floor was floated against the original beam...which was a hand-hewn log so it wasn't straight or uniform on width. Got the major gaps filled before I ran out of patch - back to the hardware store today.

I carried some things out to consolidate in the separate horse stall where I keep my target stands and the two snow plows. It has an open front and I noticed a sumac growing at the one edge, just inside. I had on work boots but was wearing shorts. I quickly realized that there was a ground hornets nest adjacent to the sumac I was bending with my foot when I felt a pain in my left ankle. I looked down to see hornets on both ankles and heading inside my boots. Two Benadryl followed...which knocked me out and I slept most of the afternoon. For Happy Hour it was B&B - Bourbon over Benadryl. Welcome to life on Mighty Mortgage Manor.

G’morning fellas and ladies, working today then off to help MIL move into her new place 1 block from me… 2 minute walking distance…. Also would like to hit joes place for some beer and catching up… he gets home from the beach today you boys and girls enjoy your Saturday!!

 

Drug my ass out of bed at 3am. Last day of vacation, gotta get back on schedule.

Probably not gonna do jack shit today, might go bass fishing later on the Susquehanna though.
