Morning, PATW. I am dropping my truck off this evening for the fuel pump recall. They are also doing the seal on the 3rd brake light. I'll pick it back up tomorrow, after work. Glad to get that done. Next weekend we are going to our cabin so I wanted it done before then. They asked me to run the tank low, but I haven't really been driving much. I feel bad, but not much else I can do.

 

I am t-minus 10 days from this, super excited. I'm headed all the way to Vancouver, though just a one way trip, I'll be leaving my car there and flying back.

 

So cool. Hitting our 32nd in two weeks!

Today was the hottest day I have ever experienced for Simms training!! Students went down and one of our leads went down as heat cats.

 

Cranked out all 5 of the in town lawns today .. Feels like I earned sitting in the chair tonight.

 

Anyone in eastern PA/western NJ have a first gen 8.4 axle housing? My diff is leaking from the cover and I’m grasping at straws here. Thinking about using a new weld on cover but my welding skills aren’t that good yet and I only have a 110 welder. Talked to a couple shops and they don’t wanna touch it.

 

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Spent the afternoon and evening sitting on the back porch with a good friend drinking scotch (him) and bourbon(me) catching up on life events and past glory. He and I were ROTC classmates - he retired as a Major General. He lives in Texas now - was born and raised here in NEPA - and it's always a chance to share some laughs and shed some tears for friends and colleagues lost.

Good morning all. A little early morning excitement in my neck of the woods. My grandson ,who is in his 2nd day of 7th grade, had to run for the bus this morning. It was about 6 minutes early. The kid ran out, the barking dog followed and I was calling out to the bus driver to wait - likely embarrassing him. Hey, at least it's Friday.
