Shrub trimming and burning day here, man that made a lot of smoke

 

I pile my brush up for a month to let it dry out/piss off the neighbors, then burn it.

Mowed grass and did a quick oil change on the Talon. Finally got it running 90% so there's a quick 1 minute video of it running down the road...

Yea that's another issue I'm tracking down, the speedometer. The car is a '95 and the transmission is out of a '97. The '95's have a tendency to break the differential pin and luck would have it this one broke several years ago. They swapped it with a better transmission and stage II clutch (which feels and shifts wonderfully btw). There's either a wiring mismatch/issue or the plastic output gear on the transmission has broke. Gonna have to take the sensor out of the transmission and spin it by hand and check output with my little scanner. It once jumped up to speed going up the mountain so it makes me hope that it may be just the sensor. Those are still hard to come by and a little pricey ($90ish). Parts are getting scarce for this ol' boy, but share some things in common with the Neon's and Stratus's of that vintage so some detective work is required sometimes.

 

At least when you get pulled over and the police officer asks if you know how fast you were going, it won’t be a lie when you say u honestly have no idea how fast you were going.

 

Then they'll start looking at the inspection sticker and it'll all go downhill from there

 

Well here we go, roughly 4k man hours in 4 days (across contractors and staff). All for the payoff of increasing line speeds by nearly 50%.

These things only go two ways, smooth as a baby's ass or a complete fucking mess like my buddy's ex.

 

Well it was nice , 4 days off but back to the grind today. You all enjoy.

Morning pa peeps. So beyond frustrated this morning. I ordered a couple windshields on Thursday was called on Friday from the warehouse that the windshields were damaged and they will send them out Monday night. Still haven't received my windows. Talked to the warehouse manager today and he's just giving me the run around. I don't care what the issue is just send me out my windows.
I was just telling my brother it's a good thing we aren't busy with the glass company. We would never get our jobs done on time. It's a constant issue with this warehouse. And the sad thing is they are the biggest glass supplier on the east coast. I've now had to reschedule my customer twice because of these idiots. I'm lucky if I still have the jobs

 

Hey, I've been on that road! Lol

 

I figured if there was anybody here that would know that road it would be you Fun road to drive down...

 

Hope everyone had a great weekend. It flies by. We got home from our cabin last night and today it is back to the grind and it feels like our trip never happened lol. Had some rain Sunday, which was annoying but I got a cool pic of the truck as I was coming back through the field.

I didn’t realize this shit was here because I’ve it was buried under a sweatshirt that I brought to the demo derby and ended up not needing, the towel I place over the defogger vents to keep the windshield clear, a couple of those free real estate magazines I got at Wawa, and some other random shit; It’s on me for telling her to just toss the stuff on the floor, but again, it’s better than her blatantly tossing shit out the window!
