The most depressing thing I have seen this year. I couldn't finish the video either.

Fentanyl is what's killing everybody, not the heroin alone...

fentanyl is a synthetic opioid, unlike heroin which is an opioid derived from a natural source (various different poppy plants)

basically they are the same same but different...

fentanyl is actually a drug widely used by hospital and doctors all over the country, it is FDA approved un like heroin

the problem we see and hear about now is the illicit black market trade fentanyl making its way onto the street that is much cheaper than heroin, killing millions who use it and those who by accident come in contact with it

    Or some derivative thereof. :notsure:
it is real and it is rampant in this section of the city.

I have to drive through there sometimes and it’s very nerve wracking because you’ve got no idea what these people will do.

The “leaners” you see are people who just shot up and have basically lost most of their motor control functions.

There are multiple tent cities on abandoned lots along the elevated rail line (the “L”) where it’s basically an open air drug market.

You want to see real life zombies? That’s where you’ll find them. Human lives basically reduced to animalistic survival levels.

it’s horrible, tragic, and worst of all 100% real.

Drove through the dealership where I bought the truck, Ciocca in Williamsport. There was 1 forlorn looking salesman sitting at a desk in the giant empty showroom -- and nothing else, no cars inside or other people. Near as I could tell there was only one new vehicle on the entire lot. Just a little like Twilight Zone.
