Got a couple of exhaust leaks, blew a code PO157. Doubt its the sensor unless the leaks fouled it up. Should I find a used exhaust and swap it out or take to a muffler shop?

 

Depends on how bad the exhaust is rusted. Generally speaking the stock exhaust is great quality and probably worth fixing. What sensor is p0157?

I’m on a straight shot of 6 night shifts. Todays the 4th, needless to say, I slept all day and missed The Game.

It’s currently 0457 when I find myself spinning in circles trying to last out the last hour of my shift when suddenly, I realized I never looked to see the score, which, at that precise moment there came a crackle over the radio, and Anchors Away starts blaring. A few second later “That’s a Copy…”… “GO NAVY!!”

This. This is why I love night shifts. I’m still giggling.

 

If it’s who I think, where I use to work, we did his fire inspection, never got to personally, I would’ve killed to see his work in person.

Bank 2 sensor 2. I’ll get some pics of exhaust today since it’s pretty clear out.

 

On the rock, a denso is $42. Also I'm located in the south hills, I have a buddy who has welded , patched and held together my daughters 03 highlander exhaust. The factory exhaust is stainless and good quality. Well worth a patch or 2 . I think 3 years ago he patched hers up and still holding.

i had a look and the leak (maybe more than 1) is right after the cat, on the elbow right before the first baffle on the Y pipe. The o2 sensor that threw the code is right there too.

That feeling when you take your work boots off for the last time for the week.

 

I've got a few weeks left before I take them off for the last time, period. Not sure how that will feel but I'm looking forward to it.

Week three of a new full time contract. 14hr. days, six days a week with one day off. Day off is random or what works with other's day off. Working with six other managers, two per shift. I have been working over-nights. Start time-1930 thru to 0930. I have to look at my phone to keep track of what day it is.
Job does come with the usual bennies AND a rental! This will deff. save the Taco which has 223K on the clock. Currently driving a new Highlander-very nice. Getting spoiled with all of the electronic gizmos in the thing!

 

yeeeep. Sounds bout right. I only knew it was still Sunday cause Yellowstone was on while I was eating my lunch.

 

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! I think it's that day called Monday or something like that.

I need to make a trip to the gun shop to pick up some .380 for Lynn's Ruger - she wants to get some aroma therapy. I also need to track down some .30 Carbine - that stuff is hard to find again - may have to order it.

A few more stops - liquor store and pick up a Christmas card for a friend and that should pretty much be my work for the day.
