I went to a barber shop Thursday after work to try out my first time with a straight blade haircut. Never again. Dude made it seem like he did a great job then charged me 35$ I got home and looked in the mirror and seen hair still sticking up all over the place. Had to re shave my head. Nope never again trusting someone else to shave my head.

 

I think the funny part was he said you have to use steam to open up your pours. I said to him I shave my head in the shower. The shower creates steam. He said your not listening to me u need steam. I gave up explaining to him that I always shave my head In the shower.

Without a doubt. Crazy tho they did a really good job restoring the old factory they put it in. Probably why they charged so much.

 

It’s supposed to be like a spa procedure to have someone else shave you now. I had a shave done at a barber shop once when I was getting married, 37 years ago. It was an additional 2 dollars on top of the haircut.It was very relaxing. Now I can’t find a shave for less than $30.00.

 

Truthfully I have a really good barber, little small town one man shop right out of the Andy Griffith Show -- he has been cutting hair 51 years.

$12, no steam needed.

The wife and I were at an overstock store and I noticed some mirrors, must have been defective as they made it look like I had a bald spot...
Imagine my surprise when I noticed my barber must have purchased the same grade D mirror that gave the same look... So much for professionals...

Good morning. Making the 50 some mile drive today with my family to visit my mother for Christmas and share a meal and gifts. She lives with my brother and nephew, who also has a Tacoma, so there will be 2 in the driveway today.
