We're doing inventory this week. Allergies are kicking my ass from all the dust we're kicking loose in our parts room counting stock. It'll take us all of this week and most of next because we only have 3 people actually doing the inventory and all 3 of us are still expected to keep up with our regular duties. We won't be counting anything on Friday, we use that day to catch up on our regular work that we can't find time for the other days. My job is having update all the computer stuff to reconcile the old numbers with the new correct counts.

 

Sounds like ur going to need a stiff drink after work !!

 

Hopefully they slide u a pizza for ur troubles.

 

With the antiquated software we use here the real wonder is that I don't have a serious drinking problem.......

 

My buddy just called me up and last night his jeep wouldn't go back in park. I said his transmission is probably fooked. He climbed underneath it today to find the dealership he got it from put a ziptie on the shift linkage instead of just replacing the shift linkage. I was like wtf. He sent me a video of it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing unreal.

Yeah the State had Letterkenny Rd brined this afternoon, employees need to be able to get to the yard on that road. Went over the hill to the cabin after work yesterday. Coming down front side of mountain toward Pleasant Hall where cell starts picking up on my way home, my Amanda was texting. Fatal accident Letterkenny Rd and Commerce St concrete truck vs car. Not good.

 

Got the snow tires on the leaf just in time. As of 6:30 this evening we have about 1/2 on the driveway, started about 5 30. Roads still clear, just wet.

Edit , my road is covered 6:38.

 

Nothing here...about 50 minutes East of you.

 

Glad I remembered to cover the trailer earlier because there's 2" of snow covering it now.

Edit: I knew I'd forget something. I usually place a bin over the landing gear and coupler too. Shit. Oh well. Atheist the deck and e-tracks won't be slick and packed with snow and ice.

 

Picture makes it look better than it is outside. That main road by my house is the winter emergency route and it's still covered even though it'sbeen plowed 3 times so far since 7pm. I just cleared the truck twenty minutes ago.

 

Just finished partial meal prepping for this weekend. Ran the trash out and nadda flurry yet.

 

Headed to work early today, putting the tires to the test.
