Morning Pennsylvania

 

3-6” snow here tonight into tomorrow , possibly more depending on the track

 

Morning all! Light snow falling on my way in to work, not really laying on the roads as yet. I'm ready for Spring already.

 

Morning Pa, light snow falling and a balmy 26 degrees.

 

Good Morning folks..

Been away..just trying to sort life out.

Today is the last day of employment in a 22yr career that I'm so grateful to have had and enjoyed, for the most part lol..
No prospects, no money tree.. no net. At least I have my sanity.. sort of..

Off to Arkansas for a month on Monday, going to sit on my cousin's back porch and let it all just melt away.

Looking forward to getting back and starting a new chapter.

Just wanted to say thanks for the well wishes and check ins throughout these past few months, and apologies for not interacting with you guys..just been really out of touch..no excuse.
I'll be back at some point, hopefully new and improved..

I was getting ready to wake up the grandson for his 2 hour delay when the school called to say it's now a remote day. That is how snow days are handled now. It works for me because I don't work, but this must be rough on those who have children and have to go to work. From an early dismissal, to a 2 hour delay to a virtual instruction day, all within a 3 hour period. Got to be flexible in 2022.

 

Hi Scott, just a short personal testimonial from me. Been through one plant closing and one downsizing (Bordens and Van De Kamps), my life changed for the better after each one! Good luck, one foot in front of the other!

 

I wanted to make a run yesterday to be sure I was ready for today's big blizzard. So I went to the shed, checked the gas cans -- they were all full or nearly so. So I bought beer.

 

Sounds like a good plan. Keep your sanity, get your head where it needs to be, and come back pumped for action. I've been through a bunch of layoffs over my career and I'm still standing. Hang in there.

Maybe an inch my ass, there's atleast 3" out there already and it's still snowing wet heavy snow. School called a 2 hour delay this morning at 6:30am and than said it's remote learning with the 2 hour dealy at 9am. Gotta love school leaders. WTF???

 

The snow came early in the Philly burbs too!

 

Yeah, it's still falling. I shoveled at 6:45, right before my wife left for work. I use a good ice melt and put it on heavy. It's keeping most of the new snowfall from laying.

 

This storm we are getting now is the first storm, there is a second storm.

 

Got a doctor's appointment and then I'm doing DoorDash!
