NC is great. 12"+ over the last two weekend snowfalls. Haven't shoveled once... partially because I left my shovel in PA though  If the sun hits it, it's gone in a day.

I need to get better about posting snow driveway pics in this thread

fun thing I tried the other day: electric leafblower on the 2" of snow that had just landed. Cleared my entire driveway.

I've been using my gas one for years and love it. Tried an electric one this time and it didn't do much guess I need bigger batteries!

Yeah it works okay, not as great as a full power gas blower. Maybe if I bought the Ego and not the Kobalt...

Looks like we're getting slammed with another storm this week/end. Could always be worse but damn.

Definitely rain into thick ice but between 8-24" depending on how far south the snow hits. You guys in the southeast of Pittsburgh might dodge heavy snow.

It's really up in the air on how far south and how fast it changes over on Thursday into Friday. Not looking forward to more heavy snow. Don't need the thick ice or flooding either.

I feel blessed that my downtown office is willing to let employees wfh in the event of bad weather. Suppose it beats what they used to do, which was straight up close. wfh is a happy medium.

Problem is, when schools close too, so does daycare, which follows the same schedule as schools. tough to work hard with little ones scooting around

They're talking about it all over the Weather Channel and other weather apps/news sources.

I need to buy a quad with a little plow attachment. I have about 1.1 acres here in north pittsburgh, at the end of a cul de sac and the kids would love being pulled on a sled. I would love using the plow, esp. helping some elderly neighbors, and riding on some trails. Anyone near here ride quads?

We did that here too. Worked on anything that we had not compacted. Cleared the 4Runner and Tacoma quite well. A "brushless" alternative! :) Very handy for the roof of the 4Runner with a factory rack on there. Also used it on the drifts that tried to fill the path that I had shoveled down to the mailbox.
Of course it seemed like this snow was particularly light.
