There’s a lot of factors that affect range: riding surfaces, rider weight, and temperature are the biggest.

Based on manufactures spec, the XR OneWheel will do 12-16miles on a single charge. Best I ever did on the stock setup was 14miles, and that was running it down to 0% battery.

I bought an older XR back in September with an older operating system that allows for swapping out the battery. On this board I installed a CBXR battery which is supposed to increase the range to 30miles. The best I got with that was about 24miles.

I have since added an external greenworks 60V 5ah battery that runs in parallel with the CBXR. I was able to go 37miles with that but it was pretty cold that day.

Realistically, in good weather and on flat paved surfaces, I should now be able to go over 40 miles on a single charge.

The other factor for max range is rider endurance… I went out yesterday morning and did 10miles in Tyler, then later went to Plymouth Meeting and did another 14miles on the Cross-County and Schukill River Trail.
I had plenty more juice left but my feet & legs were not up for it.

@MoneyMan55 Well the Franklin County tax assessor got me already, and its only been a couple weeks. They musta got a hold of the appraisal report and now list my basement as "finished". So, now it looks like I can either let it be or appeal it. Dammit... :annoyed:

Yea, it's still a kick in the nuts. I haven't even been in the home a month yet. So, now I get to trudge down to the tax assessors office and appeal. The basement isn't even finished, just has some flooring and drop in ceiling in one part...

i believe you will get taxed as finished depending on their opinion. If bathroom is down there you are screwed. I never answer the door for those tax assessors, as far as I’m concerned they can wait to come in along with the Jehovah witnesses. If you think you have a case you can appeal but then you open up opportunity to find other things to raise your rates up with. Pick your battles.

IIRC, there are elements like actively heated, power circuits, doors, egresses, etc. That are needed before an area is finished, may be in your interest to ask a lot of questions that you can answer no to. Also, pictures with date stamps can be turned over for their files to help lube the process.

Well crap. It's heated, has power, closets, etc. Just doesn't have finished walls on the exterior surfaces. Probably a loosing battle there. Now when I close in the carport, that'll raise it even further... :annoyed:

About an hour away from kick off , who's everyone picking? I'm thinking rams by 7. But Cincinnati has Tyler Boyd who's a home town hero.....so won't be disappointed if the Bengals pull it off.

I think I was frozen stupid when I wrote this. It's a 400000 btu torpedo heater. We figured it'd eat a 100lb cylinder in about 6 hours at full burn.

Appeal it might cost you coue $$$ but you will prevail. Assessor in Adams county assessed my Brothers home at replacement costs nor actual value. He fought it and won. Don't roll over. And be sure to file your homestead tax exemption. You have till 3/1 deadline. Good luck

We have heat capacity of about 10million BTU here. We go through a lot of propane, then you start adding boilers and water heaters..
