Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! This is a pretty wild storm that's going through - periods of heavy rain, lots of gusty wind and the occasional power outage. Hopefully there's not a lot of tree damage.

    Be safe out there.

Good morning. The rain stopped. We got a few flurries and ice crystals. The winds are strong. They delayed school for my grandson by 2 hours because some of the roads have been affected, probably more by the rain and flooding than the flurries. ice. My grandson has a test today. He will be happy to hear about the delay.

Speaking of flooding, it looks like the typical places around Pittsburgh are going to flood again.

Cute I like that but our Commonwealth is not the only place with lack of maintenance on roads .

Gotta love the frost heaves in Michigan

Power went out sometime overnight here. Came back on about 2 hours ago. Big tree fell on the wires not far from us. According the power company outage map there are dozens of small outages around here.

It's been a crazy winter. Around here, November and December were mild, with little snow. Since then, bam! I was watching a local weather cast a few days ago and the weather man said, since January 1st, the temperature has averaged 6 degrees below the norm for that time frame. That's a good deal, not to mention the snow and ice.
