No kidding, one time my friend and I found a 1969ish Chrysler Newport on the bid lot at this place back in like 2011, but usually it's much newer vehicles (usually newer than 2000) that fall into the following categories...

• Too old (Though I don't know what "too old" is right now considering there's a 2007 Crossfire for sale; See above).
• High miles.
• Incredibly shitty condition.
• Any too of the three potential issues listed above, or all of the above.

 

No idea, but I found another one! These are all wholesale cars that are going to auction...

 

A lot of the bid cars were legit shitboxes, and the ones that were not tended to have varying cosmetic issues; The rest were just OLD and/or had really high miles!

 

CarShop also doesn't seem to put vehicles worn lift kits or other noticeable modifications on their lot...

 

Good afternoon pa peeps. Just put a call in for a possible new job for a pest control company. Starting pay is the same I'm making now. But this company offers pay raises and a take home work truck. And guaranteed 40 plus hours a week. Also found out my current job has been stealing time from me. So yea hopefully I get this new job keeping my fingers crossed

I found a few gems, at least in my opinion...



I have no idea why a 2019 Tacoma 4x4 (last picture) was on the wholesale lot, but I'm guessing it has close to or over 100K miles, and I don't think I've ever seen anything with over 50K at this place!

 

Also saw this Mercedes on the bid lot at CarShop...

And just to give everyone an idea of how confusing their approval system for vehicles is, here's this 2017 VW Tiguan with a little over 48K miles...

 

As seen above, there is a 2007 Chrysler Crossfire (albeit with incredibly low miles) on the "regular lot", so I don't know what their reasoning was for putting a 5-year old AWD SUV with less than 50K miles on the "Select" lot...

I should be getting a call back on Tuesday. I was told the owner is on vacation so I left them all my info. The guy I spoke to on the phone sounded like a good dude.

 

I wandered back over to Peruzzi Toyota, which again is where my dad bought my 2010 RC back in September 2009; This market SUCKS!

The only confirmed new vehicle I found on the lot is a 2022 Tundra, which may or may not be spoken for; The rest of the inventory was used, and I'd say that almost half were not Toyota (though I did see a couple Lexus SUVs). A lot of them, including the newer vehicles, seemed to have 40K miles or more; There were several vehicles that were a decade old or older, including a beige 2008 BMW 7-Series. When will this madness end?!?!

I don't mean this to sound derogatory, I am genuinely curious; how big is NASCAR today versus 15 years ago? Last I heard, and it's been some time, the following really fell off the deep end and rather quickly.

Good morning PA. Off to the dealer this morning with the wife's Rav4 to get it inspected and an oil change, and, oh, the emissions test.

 

Great weather today for a nice drive. Enjoy and for us working folk enjoy the view out the window .

 

I shall. I might even give the truck a washing this afternoon and get some of the salt and cinders off of it too.
