Do you still have your old wheels and tires? Swap them back, get it inspected and swap back.

 

On the west part of the state , my son has tires that stick out a little and the dealer stickered it for the first 2 free inspections. I'm sure u can find a indy that would pass it while u hand them a fresh dozen of extra doughnuts u happen to have.

So I go and put my 2 weeks in. And the boss fires me. Like wtf I'm giving you the courtesy to find someone to cover me. And this scumbag actually tell me to go f myself. I'm beyond pissed off right now.

 

I've seen guys bring their trucks in with lawn garden edging stuck to their fenders to cover the tires for inspection. Technically that shouldn't pass either.

Easiest route is just to swap tires with someone for your inspection.

Yea but this is not how I wanted my day to go. I had my whole van loaded and ready to go. Idk it's just a shitty move to make.

I was lucky getting into a field I loved right out of school Sure I was talked into lots of grunt work early on but I was always learning .

 

From the way they treated you I figured this could play out this way.

The rain has just about ended ,water has receded and the basement is dry

Unfortunately I'm dumb and had them take the old tires off the old wheels cause I wanted to sell them. I guess I could have them put back on.

 

Well it's something I've never done. And I've done alot of different jobs. Only time will tell and hopefully it works out. This job that just fired wasn't going to be a long term job to begin with it was just something to hold me over till I found something more permanent and that guarantee raises.

 

Well, there is no question about what kind of person he is, his loss both as an employer and a person.
You did it the right way and are the better man.

Some places just do that as they're concerned about crap like disgruntled employees sabotaging equipment or stuff like that. If you're eligible you can file for unemployment and enjoy a short vacation before starting the new job.
