It's partly sunny here, although there is a chance of rain. At least it's not gray and dreary. :)

Partly sunny seems more optimistic over partly cloudy. I’m going to fire up the bike today and take for a ride, assuming any rain holds off.

I am trying to stay optimistic, but there are certainly days when I wake up and see partly shitty. Sometimes it's mostly shitty or even completely shitty.

    Thread moves so fast!

Before I jump on a new lomax cover for like $850, does anyone here have an OEM tacoma shortbed hardcover? Last call. 3rd gen. I found one in uniontown, PA for $250 but its for a 2017 and they claim it wont fit the 2022 because of my side rails. any ideas? A few threads on here but I want to be sure before I drive way out of my way to buy one.

Text my son , he had to modify his bed rails for his hard cover. Not sure why , but I think he found a OEM 3rd gen one. Maybe there is a difference in bed rails with a hard cover option ? Just remember seeing him with a saw zaw , that's when I had to have a long Island ....

yeah actually I did ask him if he had one for sale, and he said he had one, but not for sale :D

And I hear with the bakflip or really almost any cover you have to get out the angle grinder or saw. Ill illustrate the dilemma

$250: local OEM hardcover, about an hour away. Used several years. likely need to cut up my bed to make it fit
$500: bakflip located about 3 hours away, used 2 years. Might need to cut up bed.
$800: new lomax cover, shipped to my door. Dont think I need to cut anything.

Needless to say, I am fairly disappointed I didnt just get one from the factory. I need to transport some things that I need secured in my bed and I am delaying it quite a bit now due to missing my tonneau cover

The OEM bed cover needs the bed rails modified for the latching pegs to be installed, this thread shows how the OEM cover is installed https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-tonneau-cover-install.444415/

Morning all. Hope everyone is having a good morning. Anyone locally upgrade to a PRO Fox suspension. I have one sitting was going to put on. Thought about going a different direction but when it comes to selling i am really having a hard time pulling the trigger on letting this go. I have a guy interested but still have cold feet on if I am sure I want to let it go or not. Sorry for the ramble on just looking for some voices outside of my own head with another outlook on things.

It's going good I like it so far. Considering all the other jobs I've had this one is super laid back and easy. Should be a easy pay check every 2 weeks.

Went out today and the daily van wasn't where I left it...
It slid about 8 feet down the icy driveway dragging the studded tires all the way, I guess it was windy last night. :notsure:

Some years ago the wife's uncle was visiting, his car slid about 50 feet. I looked at his tires and was surprised he actually made it here -- they were almost race slicks.

Saw this really nice 1992 Jeep Cherokee in the parking lot of the new Giant in Doylestown; 30 years old, and it looks a hell of a lot better than most SUVs do today!
