Since the weather is breaking and I have new speakers I'm thinking about swapping out the factory speakers. Just watched a video how to remove the door panels (easy enough). Did not know the rear speakers in a doublecab are 6.5". I have a couple sets of 6x9's and 6x8's laying around I had in my show truck and in Battle Born (my rock crawler). Has anyone put 6x8's or 6x9's in the rear doors? If needed I can always cut the doors to allow them to fit.

That fuel needed for that rocket is going to be out of reach soon. I checked prices for heating oil and propane in my area. $4.39 for heating oil, $2.79 for propane.

I went the Uptop Overland way, I liked the look, and liked what I was reading as far as manufacturing, capabilities, and customer service. These guys went as far as to return my phone call/email with a question while they were out on their own off-road adventure, and made sure that someone could reach out if they lost signal (While I was in the middle of doing the install btw).

After doing the front rack, it was pretty easy for me to justify the rest of the truck. Now, I went with the alpha because of some future goals of my own, but also because I love that I can throw a hammock up and all I need is one solid healthy tree and my truck. Did I go with all the lighting? No, but I left myself the ability to do so with minimal effort. The cost between their alpha and bravo off the top of my head is fair. They were about a month to two months past their estimated shipping time, but for me, that was super understandable with how rapidly they grew. (I also am patient AF, especially for small businesses, small shops, etc.)

If you wanted to see the alpha there's a few pictures here:

Good morning all. I got woken up this morning by machinery racing up and down my street at a snails pace. I guess they are digging up water or gas lines and replacing. I noticed the paint on the roads a week or so ago and yesterday I noticed some fresh paint when I got home.

@PCTaco thanks, I've looked at theirs, but like you said it aint cheap!

And @TinyTech626 thank you as well, I appreciate the knowledge. Sweet looking truck. Seems like there is a consensus though! UpTop is the way to go.

I got my replacement plate today - the original started peeling within a few months of putting it on the truck. I processed a request for a free replacement - only took about 4 weeks from the day I mailed it in to get the new late.
