Wow. I am waiting for a fill. I had hoped I would make it through the Spring because it is always cheaper in the late Spring/early summer. Anyway, my cost is $2.79/gallon but I have a tank that holds 400 gallons. That is the highest it has been in the 6 years since I have had a propane furnace.

Good morning pa peeps. Got 3 windshields to do today heading out in about a hour. Luckily I have everyone going to my brother's house so that all the traveling I have to do. Work never stops.

Any of you in the eastern part of the state familiar with Stateside urbancraft vodka? A Google search says it's made in Philly. My daughter's boyfriend got me a bottle and gave it to me yesterday. I have only had one shot so far, but it seems to be smooth.

And done. Didn't take a picture of the other 2 cars. This pt cruiser had lots of rust on the top pinch weld. Took a crap load of pictures to show the customer also had to charge more money for it.

@Charlie Too Yessir. They have a vodka soda that's pretty darn good. My wife thinks it's the best seltzer style adult beverage on the market - I don't disagree.

All the companies tier the rate - heating, water heating, cooking - the more you use the less they charge. The tank is small, probably 40 - 50 gallons.

Previously I had a propane water heater and Amerigas . I was paying over $5/gallon almost 10 years ago. They always assured me that I was getting "the middle rate"...
In 25 years with them I ran out at least 3 times (automatic delivery, eh), each time they moseyed on out after a day or three when it was convenient for them, never even sent me a calendar.

When I got rid of the propane WH I also got rid of Amerigas for a local family company, much better folks.

Putting a windshield in the Cruiser probably doubled the value.

    Miserable cars to work on.
We had 2 of them -- the wife likes them and I like her so we ended up having 2 of the tire eating, spark plug digesting, rot prone mechanical tinker toys....

Did I mention that I don't like them much??

I never cared for them. Although they are normally very easy to replace windshields on. Only have to take the wipers off. No cowling to remover.

To be fair it wasn't an unpleasant car to drive. It had very good seats and everything was located ok. There was plenty of headroom but the low windshield created a giant blind spot by my left eye, she is 5'2" so it wasn't a problem for her.

Open the hood on the other hand -- to add oil was inconvenient and you will add oil, 2 or 3 quarts between changes.

    Anything else was much worse.
We won't even get into the holes in the rocker panels on a 4 year old car...

There is a couple cars that I refuse to do any glass work on. I'll send the customer to the next glass shop if they own those select few. Some cars I'd rather not have the headache.

A friend had a 3 cylinder 5 speed Metro. It was his commuter car and he kept up on the service work, somewhere around 325k the suspension rusted away from the body.
He hated parting with that 45+ mpg car, it was still running the original clutch.
