Yea it was under market value for sure! The body has some scratches and weird touch ups, but the frame is mint! Unfortunately I have to get new tires as the ones on there are pretty thin and 5 years old. Getting a set of Copper Discoverer AT3's put on in a couple days.

Also the truck just had a major service done. Not the first time for a trans service either, explains why it shifts so damn good!

Now don't get me wrong, I love my 2021, but the 4.0L and 5 speed automatic in the 2nd gens is by far a better power-train combination.

Anyone have a good shop recommendation for lifts? I need to have an ecgs bushing installed and beleive my coils weren’t installed correctly. Anyone know of a shop that knows what they are doing? I’m in Delaware county but can travel

Anyone know who is doing tunes around Chester County? I know Norsk used to do the OVtune, but I must have just missed him and haven't gotten a response.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Took the winterization kits off the bee hives yesterday and set them up so we can split them. All 3 hives are loaded with bees.

ALso got our 2d booster shots. Life is good.

I've been passing a cement 3rd gen with a mid level bed rack and RTT almost every morning on 282 for the past couple of months. I will try to take a picture today, but all I can usually see is headlights lol. We always give eachother the taco wave, wanted to know if it was someone on here.

allen hish in jersey is who did mine recently. KD max Pro tune is the best thing I have ever done to my Tacoma. Drives smooth as butter with torque all through all rpms. Easily
    Cruise at 90-85

Does the tune kill the fuel economy of theses trucks. I mean its already bad but will it get worse.

Also to add to Jim's question, what disadvantages is a tune ? Longevity?

I average around 20 on highway and 17-18 around town but I also have a larger heavier tire. 265/70/17 Wildpeaks. It typically helps mpg because it gives you more torque so you don’t have to mash the pedal all the time

I have spoken to hundreds of people on this topic before I got the tune and there are people with 70,000+ on the tune with no issues. My truck runs better now than it ever did. I am close to 20k miles with the tune.

That's better than what I got this past weekend driving out to Fort Wayne. That was my first trip that I used a full tank in the truck and thought it would have been better.

I did notice that with the cruise set at times on a slight incline it was searching for a gear which I found odd because it flattens out once you cross into Ohio.

My only concern with a "tune" is voiding the warranty of my 2019. I have "heard" that if I have an engine failure that is normally covered and they see the tune, they will balk. I cannot confirm that this is true but it has kept me from going down this route....and I sure want to! :)
