Was the smoke black or blue?
How did the engine sound when it was smoking -- normal smooth or rough with kind of a brap, brap, brap sound?

If the smoke was black and the engine rough it could be running rich -- most commonly caused by the choke being partially on. The rough running can blow loose any carbon in the exhaust system.

EFI motor so no manual choke. Honestly smoke was blueish, definitely not black. Ran fine, was just smoking.

Blue you might need a valve lap. How many hours on the top end?

sounds too new for that unless there was a manufacturing defect. You have verified the sump level is within band?

An EFI mower -- my experience is way outdated.

Any chance it was parked at an unusual angle on a ramp or hill?
Have you inspected the air cleaner lately?

lol! Yes sir, EFI. It’s a nice feature, better on gas, turn key and go no matter what the temp is. Air cleaner is mostly clean with the except of a few random blades of grass, I blow off everything every time I use it.

Took a little longer than expected but I've got central air! Soo nice to be comfortable in every room of the house and not just the bedroom with a window AC.

I have some cleaning/tidying up to do around the instalation but overall the guys who did the work did a great job.

no, not paid for yet, but can be at any time. Thank you for responding

We have a lead on some used Kings now, since I thought no one was available to help out. Will let you guys know.

can't really beat these, especially if theres a buyer lined up for after hes used them. Background: he needed an extra pair of coilovers to put on his truck, while his current set is sent out for a rebuild.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

I gonna need a maintenance support group this summer. Just sourced a complete cooling system refresh package for my '96 Z3 - from the radiator to the water pump, thermostat and housing, hoses, belts, tensioners, pulleys....... This will be my deepest dive into any mechanical work I've done. Pray for me.:rofl:
