Today I did 4 of the in town lawns, probably 15-20 minutes drive to the first stop -- WOW was that mower seat hot!

 

This is ridiculous.
1030 at night it is still 80° outside with high humidity.

so much for spring.

 

Good thing for the heat wave here means all our jobs get pushed out, slow times for PECO employees until folks shut off their air conditioners

 

when you are spending more than you make to go into work. With the current price of gas that's not unrealistic in our future LOL

That wall gets hit around 72 hours a week for me. The money is still good but the mental health drain ain't worth it.

 

I saw on the local news today that all electric companies across the state will be raising their rates. So buckle up.

The reporter had some suggestions to save energy: use a fan instead of a.c., unplug things, etc. Basically, return to the year 1900.

 

Sorry folks, that's probably my fault just got central AC added to the house, so natural byproduct of that is increased energy cost.

 

Good morning all. Naturally right when it started getting hot this past weekend my the ice maker in my freezer crapped out.

 

I’m poor but not that poor, I’d rather be broke that sit in my home with jungle grundle.

 

All the parts arrived to do the total coolant system refresh on my '96 BMW Z3. All I need now is the courage to pull it all apart.

 

Liquid courage? Bust out the bourbon. Nothing like booze n wrenches. Then have someone else test drive .

 

Yeah I’m not doing all that but I’m trying to save. They say the new rates start today in many parts of the state, depending on your utility company
I have a few 10,000 btu window units I been mostly running one in my bedroom set warmer when I’m not home. Then turning the other one off at night and I’m not home. All that just to save some money but everything is going up except my pay. We will see how long I can put up with that.
