My wife has a 2020 Rav4 and she enjoys it very much, and she is a hard one to please.

 

My wife also has a 2019 Rav4 Adventure AWD. Already fixed all of the recall stuff except for the roof rack leak, still need to take it in for that to get a new headliner. Great overall vehicle for the first year redesign.

Good morning all! It's my Friday today as I scheduled off tomorrow to have an extra long weekend. Looking forward to that. Good news yesterday in that I got a $2/hour raise without having to ask for it. Guess our boss is finally realizing just what my office partner and I do to keep his company running and trying to make them money.

 

10 and a half and on 2 meds ,still acts like a puppy wanting to play .

It's like any other job. Some days are good some says are bad. Good day so far. Off on Monday so 3 days weekend I'll take it.

 

Just finished mowing. I'll take mowing in the dark to mowing when it's 90+ any day!

Gotta give a shout out to H&A Auto in Norristown. They had my Tacoma for a few days at the beginning of the month to fix the AC, ended up replaced the condenser. Few days later it went out again so I called them and they said to bring it back. I dropped it off Monday and asked if I could get it back same day because I was out of town Tuesday- Thursday. . He said he'd rather keep it an extra day if he could to make sure the repair took this time but he would drop it off at my house before I got back on Thursday.

Fast forward to today, I got home and no tacoma, so I called him and he apologized for running behind. He said he'd drop it yet tonight and he'd explain what happened.

True to his word he showed up a couple hours later and explained he didn't get to check it to make sure the charge took until this morning and realized it was out again. So they did some more digging and found the compressor leaking but couldn't reach me for approval so he just did it anyway. When I asked how much I owed for that he told me not to worry about it because he told me he'd have it done today and he just wanted to keep his word. Definitely going to use them again if I come across something I can't handle!

Hopefully tomorrow I can talk him into at least letting me pay for the part

 

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

I spent a few hours behind my chainsaw and pole saw cutting limbs and stumps yesterday, then ended up getting the countertops and flooring for the basement bar we're going to build delivered - so I carried all that down to the basement. Of course, then it was pool time!! Margueritas by the pool and topped it all off with Mexican food on the back porch for dinner. Sweet.

Today I'm playing my round for the 9 hole golf league at 8 and then it will be another pool day.

I wish it was 2002. I was young, fit and virile back then, although not as wise and well off financially. I think I'll still take that trade.

In the grand scheme of things "health is wealth", anything else is just an added benefit.

 

Yea, I was in 100 times better shape back then but in the last 20 years I've had a 19 year old son, married my wife of 17 years (together 19 years) and had two sons with her (6 and 11). Plenty of bad things have happened (work accident that nearly killed me, along with other health issues) in 20 years but I wouldn't change anything because I wouldn't have my family.
