Hornets run

 

Calling for 98 today and 105 tomorrow in my area. Please for the love of God give us a day break

 

Yeah, that looks like a hornets' nest and they are the most aggressive, even more so than yellow jackets. I am allergic to their sting, so I always have my head on a swivel when it comes to these. It won't be easy to rid. Don't try to burn it down, lest the house go with it. LOL. Once night comes, you could knock it down then run, and come back on the morning to see what's left.

 

After work yesterday I stopped at a buddies house on the way home from work. And we were bs'ing in the back yard I look over on the side of his garage was a hornet hive the size of a basketball. I sprayed it with some stuff I use for work killed them in like 10sec. Shit I use for work is awesome

 

That stuff goes about 20 feet? Or do you have industrial strength stuff?

 

This past month at work I think I've taken down over 30 hornet nest for customers. Haven't been stung yet. I have a bee suit but this stuff I use at work has knock down power. And I can spray from up to 15 feet away

 

Definitely shit u can't buy in the store. I guess only if you have a pesticides license.

 

I still think how impressive it is how they build those massive hives. And it's like they pop up over night.

 

Too bad. I don't trust the stuff in a can with my life. We had a yellow jacket nest in the ground last summer, which I had to run over with the ride mower. My crazy stepson, beer in hand, dug up the nest, poured gas on it and watched it burn. To odd thing is, he didn't get stung - this time.

 

2 weeks ago I went to a customer's house and the had a yellow jacket hive in the ground in the flower garden. My boss showed up and was like I don't see any bees. I used a shovel to stir up the soil. My boss ran like a little girl took off out of the yard. I soaked the area with a pesticide. Dug up the hive killed the queen. Decent size hive the queen was like 2" long big ol girl

 

I almost feel yellow jackets are more aggressive then hornets. Hornets just look scary. I mean both stings are bad. But yellow jackets will chase you across the street.

 

BTW good morning Pennsylvania. Going crabbing today with a buddy of mine. It's the only time of the year we really get to hang out. Every crabbing season we get together and hit different spots. He lives in South jersey one of the reason why we don't hang out as much. He's down in mays landing which is about 2hrs depending on traffic south of me.

 

Foaming wasp killer. Sprays out as a liquid and then foams up in a massive way. I shoot it right in the hole so there is no chance for escape. I still run like my ass is on fire.

 

Lol. Funny enough I do the same thing at work. Spray n run.

 

Brake clean always works well
