I’ve been to quite a few different areas of Pennsylvania when I drove tractor trailer. I like it . I would move there just to get out of NY but where I am here taxes are pretty cheap . Wife want to be near the ocean further south but not sure how she thinks we could actually afford that :der:

We went in the in the Spring of 1977. Most of the kids on the trip weren't too interested in taking it in. Sneaking booze on the bus and making out seemed to be the priorities. LOL.

We went to Gettysburg a few years back for 2 days. Not enough. So much history to soak in. Definitely have to go back. And don't cheap out like me and pay for a professional tour guide.

Speaking of all this generator and switchgear stuff. We have a big CAT 16cyl diesel generator at work that will power the entire building no problem (well, used to before half the switch gear burned up, but that's another story). Well, they're going to be hauling that one away and install a natural gas generator. The kicker is it will only power half the darn building, so one of us has to babysit operations to make sure they don't try and start too many sorters...:facepalm::facepalm:

We are building a new power plant. So 4 new 5kv generators! So the electric contractor is selling the 5 used cats we have now. 3 at 480 and 2 at 208. All diesel. I can give them ur name if I want to buy lol.

Apparently this new natural gas one will put power back into the grid. So that combined with all the solar panels on the building they get some "green" certification...

Not bad in Pittsburgh. A breeze maybe 80 if that. Cloudy. Hope this comes your way. Saw on the news yesterday Philly, Boston, NY areas on its 5th day in a row with triple digit temps!

It's showing 98 with a real feel of 108 right now. Still at 92% humidity. Glad I knocked those yards out fast.

yeah, my street isn't as steep as over that area, it looked like Cambria St on the news. However my road is a river in heavy rain, it just flies past the few drains and runs down the driveways.

    I wasn't born until '78 :D :D

on a good note, we're getting in the 70s Wednesday thru the weekend at least, no rain so I'm going to try and get out on the bike at least a bit, maybe make a road trip (hopefully these links work, wouldn't let me use the Image link)

Took the family out there for a day trip a few years ago. Definitely a lot to see and do out there! Easily could spend 2-3 days.

If you're big on history I'd also suggest Mystic Seaport up in New England and Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. Both are terrific if you're into Historical stuff.

TBO History is one of the reasons why I love living in Bucks County. There's a home in my neighborhood that was the original farm house that dates back to the early 1800's. There's a TON of historical things to see & experience. :D
