Got to get over to my storage unit and unload my whole back seat. Headed to pa tomorrow with my buddy to the reptile show. Also got to take both dogs to the vet for their last set of shots. But I'm moving in slow motion this morning.

I bought some dog treats for my dog and some produce for me, because I like to eat. Got a bushel of apples and my wife and I made an apple pie and applesauce. My wife also got some shorts and my grandson was checking out the electronics but he is particular. He didn't find anything worth while.

Saw a few posts about COVID on here the past few days. It hit me hard yesterday morning early and I tested positive yesterday afternoon. Doctor prescribed Paxlovid. I feel pretty rotten but if I didn't know COVID was a thing I would have just thought it was a flu bug at this point.

Mine was more like a bad case of bronchitis, which I had for nearly a month about 5 or 6 years ago. I occasionally had some difficulty taking a deep breath and a pressure at the top of my head that felt like it was throbbing. Both of these tended to occur when I coughed. I mean, I walked my dog every day and cut the grass yesterday -- which was one week since my diagnosis. I didn't get Paxlovid. They gave me some cough syrup, which helped control the cough. I still have an occasional cough and that feeling that a deep breath will lead to a coughing spell. Then again, I had that for the entire month of February 5 or 6 years ago, like I said. It just wouldn't go away and ever since I feel as if I have asthma. I hope you feel as well as you can and get better soon.

I really had no fever, but a night or so after I was diagnosed, I had a bout of the chills all night. I woke up the next morning in a pool of sweat, which I had hoped would get rid of it, like you see with some other illnesses. That didn't happen. After a week or so I feel 90% better. Who knows if I will have lingering effects. Some do.

I woke up at 1:00 am yesterday with 102 fever and was freezing my tail off and hurting all over. That lasted most of the day yesterday and has been hit and miss today. I’ve been sweating quite a bit off and on. Also developed a sore throat and cough today with congestion. Still have the body aches as well.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

I finished up the Paxlovid round of treatment yesterday morning - started feeling better about a day after starting to take the pills. Went from a bad head cold with cough to a mild one with less coughing. Worst thing for me was the fatigue - everything wore me out and I slept a lot. Ran a low grade fever off and on. Feeling better this morning - going to test later to see if I'm still positive. Still a little congested.

Best advice I can give is REST and fluids. REST!!! Oh, and REST!!!

My second course of treatment started last evening.
