Good morning. Just finished up cleaning up most of the rain water that made its way into our basement, it takes alot of hea rain @Charlie Too. Definitely that much if not more because it rained all night and than came the thunder heads right over our house around 6am and stayed until 9:20am shaking the whole house and lighting up every room nonstop. Haven't gone outside yet to see the damage yet, Definitely going to be trees down and other damage here with the storms that rolled through. Going to check the headliner in the Rav4 Adventure well because I still need to take it in to have them replace the headliner, side curtain airbags and update the roof rack gaskets/o rings so it won't leak.

Update: couple trees down in Riverview Park across the street, luckily none behind our house. No water visible on the headliner or anywhere else in the Rav4 Adventure. Still taking it in to get fixed and parts replaced under warranty. Found the culprit for the water in the basement. The rain was so heavy it knocked the downspout off the angled part. Fixed it and put screws on to hold it together.

Our power went off briefly this morning, while I was in the basement checking to see how much water trickled in there. I have a few sump pumps and a mini french drain on the inside of the wall that sits below the neighbor's higher yard. A dehumidifier and fan help dry thing out, along with the a.c. blowing down there. I ended up with just a tad over 3 inches in the gauge. The rain stopped about 9:30 or so, for now.

We got rain this morning but no where near 3 inches, probably less than a 1/4.

Maybe my gauge somehow takes in more than the actual rain? The only thing I know is I clear it after every rain and there is 3 inches sitting in it. I know we got a good deal of rain for several hours. I have a drain in my front yard and it is still draining over the hillside five or six hours after the rain stopped.

Just found this thread and did some reading and since im new here (Tacoma World) wanted to see if I qualify.
looks like you guys have some fun with each other and just in general.

So let me know if I fit. Born in Italy but raised in West Philadelphia. Before you ask, Yes, I did meet Will Smith but that was before he was what he is. Moved to the burd's outside the city a few years ago.
Wife was born in old coal mining area above Pittsburgh. Still go back to see family. Love it out there
Bought my Tacoma in Sinking Springs PA, son got his in Thordale PA
Get down to the city as often as I can to grab a real cheesesteak because here where I am, we’ll they call it a cheesesteak but…
Just have to watch the gun fire in the city now but it does clear the crowds so you can go up and order quicker.
Appreciate your vote and enjoy your week.

Need them jersey people. We get 30 bushels of jersey tomatoes (best plums you can get) each year to do our yearly Italian thing.
We call it gravy, most call it sauce. production line, propane burners tents set up outside, giant pots, this year we made 451 quarts
And you need wildwood and OC anyway for fun

Looks like it may be going south to north, with a counter clockwise turn, but staying in western and central PA.
