Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! 50 here this morning. I am totally a hot weather person so I cry a little when the pool gets closed. Now I need to think about getting the plows put on the UTV and ATV. Ugh.

New tires for the Tacoma today and then have some errands to run. Almost finished with the basement bar - just have to run the lights for the cabinets and shelves and it will be ready to set up. We're happy with how it is turning out.

Enjoy the day and the long weekend for those who get Monday off!!!

@Devious6 Bar is looking good! As for tires, I think Toyota dealers have buy 3 get 1 for a buck. I am also scheduled to replace my Sienna’s tires today plus alignment. Today should warm up around 75°F, which might turn out to be the best day of the week in our area.

Thanks! I got the tires email the other day and checked with my dealership. Unfortunately, it won't cover the Falkens I'm putting on my truck since they don't normally stock them. They are currently putting Yokahamas on as replacements for the OEMs - not what I want. But, they did give me a little better price than I could have gotten anywhere else - and I don't have to worry about another place messing up the TPMS.

Dealership installed new Yokanamas on my Amanda's 19 Rav4 last week. Buy 3 get 1 for a dollar. Still was expensive as tires have shot up in price. Anyhow, they seem to ride nice and are an upgrade over the junk Firestones it came with from the factory. I feel the good money we spend on these new Toyotas they should all come with Michelins. My 21 Tundra did.

Morning Pa! Just ran my first full tank through the Camry, actual numbers for mileage 32.2. Loving this compared to maybe 16 mpg of Tundra. In a matter of days price has gone up to $3.85. Happy Friday all!

My wife has a Rav4 and she needs new tires. She likes and wants Michelins, so I am going to get them for her at the end of the month at Costco. They have a $150 discount until 10/24. Already ordered them and set up an appointment to get them put on. Speaking of tires, mine will make it through another winter, but I was searching for a replacement already. I have read on TW the various brands and types people get. I don't off road but my roads are tar and chip and dirt around here. I went to Tire Rack and put in the factors I want and it came up with this brand as one option:
Vredestein Pinza AT, along with the General Grabber and I think the Falken. Anybody know anything about Vredestein? It was the cheapest and compared well with the others.

Finally got around to installing the Goodyear in channel ventshades on my wife's 2019 Rav4 Adventure AWD. They fit great, I'm guessing I'll probably have to replace the double sided tape with 3m tape like many others have needed to do in the reviews. Three years without ventshades is a long time when you're used to have them on your vehicles. Weathertech and EGR still haven't come out with a set for the new rav4's yet. I haven't driven with them on or the windows rolled down yet (just installed them yesterday. I like these because they're in channel and aren't flat almost all the way against the glass like most available for the rav4 now. And the go all the way down to the door in the front.

Never heard of that brand. Any reviews on tire rack ? Really can't go wrong with cosco , you'll have a great warranty.

There are a few reviews, about 50.
Here's from Tire Rack. You can see only 127,000 miles reported:

Looks good. What's the tread wear number? Usually the higher the better.
