They're actually a pretty good tire for the money...

I still like Cooper as my "budget tire". So farm I'm liking the ones I put on my Tacoma a couple months ago. They don't ride quite as well as the factory Goodyear's, but holy crap do they hook up in the rain! $780 mounted, balanced, and taxed.




I think we're gonna put the same tire on a friends S10. She's tired of slipping at the end of her driveway in a dusting of snow. The old BF's just are wore slap out

Sounds like that tire has great specs.

 

It looks it. As of now, I am going to give it a try next year... unless I hear something bad about them.

 

650 is the Treadwear, the higher the better but there is no set standard between manufacturers so it's tough to compare. Typically over 500 is good and will get you 40-50k miles. High performance summer tires are usually rated around 200-300

First letter is your traction rating on a scale of AA-A-B-C

Second letter is your temperature rating (heat tolerance) on a scale of A-B-C

I just put Falken Wildpeaks on my Tacoma yesterday - was going to go through Sam's Club but my dealership beat their price so I had them done there. Got them dirty driving home on our dirt road.

Same opinion as others , good tires. Bought mine through sams club. Never thought to ask dealer to match.

 

Good morning PA. Finally getting around to finishing up my bathroom redo. Had to wait for those who know what they are doing to get a day off of work.

 

Why would you worry When one of your friends is a Federal DOT agent.

Time to build a truck Freightliner Cat which version? Transmission?

I guess if you still have the 4Runner I will buy it I just need to figure out the easiest way to pay for it.
