The frosts we have had, along with the rain and wind has taken most leaves off the trees. Here's the last one in my yard that is standing just about fully leaved.

 

I'm still waiting for my oak trees to drop their leaves before I clean the gutters.

 

Making a couple meatballs for my granddaughter. She likes to take them to school in one of those little thermos things. I put 4 per pack for her. Thought I would make a few for us as well.
Wife has a dough rising for some focaccia for later to go with the pasta and meatballs we be having later.
Eagles ,Steelers on, wine open, got a cheese board for nibbling on while we cook.
Looks like Steelers just tied it up.

Got the leaves mulched out front and decided to take down more shrubbery...





Promptly killed my Ryobi chainsaw afterwards, so guess I need to get something better

 

Going to be late nights for me all week with the Phillies and the Eagles on Thursday night…

 

honestly I have extreme dental anxiety. The only pain/pressure I felt was the shot into the roof of the mouth, but he warned me about it. Other then that no pain, no pressure.

I don’t want to assume… but battery or gas? I have a battery Stihl saw(the small, 12” bar) for smaller projects that I don’t want to bust my 291 out for. I’ve taken down maybe 15-20 trees with it, and more branches than I can count.

 

It's a gas 16". It was a cheap $150 saw I bought back in 2018 and have abused the crap out of it. 4 years might not sound like much, but for a cheap saw and the amount of abuse I've put it through...

The oil system clogged up and burned up the chain. I took it all apart, cleaned it, and put a new chain on it. It seems to have recovered from my shenanigans to die another day

Morning Pennsylvania

 

My mother, brother and sister -in-law came over for dinner a week ago Sunday. I made some nice big meatballs - about 1/3 of a pound each - and a homemade marinara sauce since my grandson doesn't like things like peppers and onions in the sauce. We had a big salad and a fresh loaf of Mancini's bread. Even my picky brother ate.

 

Good morning PA. Rainy here. I hope it stops since I have to trudge around with my grandson and his friends for trick or treating tonight.
