right now, very mild. if the forecast is right, temp is going to plummet 30 degrees in 4 hours from 0500-0900. THAT could make things a bit nippy

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!!

I was in the Easton, PA area yesterday until about 11AM - rain had just started. By the time I got to I80 it was starting to get slushy, I380 it was snowing/sleeting with a covering on the highway. By Scranton it was pure snow but the roads were just wet. At home we had 2" of snow on the ground - changed over to rain mid afternoon. Now the snow on the driveway is gone and it's 43 and raining. Just waiting for the floor to drop out of the temps and the freezing start.

    Be safe out there.

Extremely high winds blowing everything around outside. Sounds like a freight train rolling fast beside the house (I used to have train tracks 10ft from my house out in Oregon so I know the sound well) shaking the house. Wind chains are going crazy. Around an inch of snow encasing everything. I really hope the power doesn't go out, I'm surrounded by trees as far as the I can see so my fingers, toes, legs, nuts and eyes are crossed. Too cold and windy not to have heat with little kids. I live in a valley that goes up from the river on the Northside so all of the wind is funneling right up it and swirls at my house because of the way the valley connects to go up hill in front of my house. Stay safe and warm out there.
