I've occasionally seen trucks with caps that have a pool noodle between the cap and the truck. I'm guessing its for keeping junk out from between the windows. I'm thinking about doing this, can anybody enlighten me if that would fuck up the paint? I imagine it might

Good morning all. Tacoma rolled over 18k this morning on my way to work.

 

On ur 17 ? Guessing you drive the bike more ? That's low , keep this up it will last you 30 yrs plus.

 

I think mine rolled 18K within a little over a year of ownership...

 

I bought it used in 2020 with 7.5k on it. I definitely prefer being on 2 wheels. Truck is pretty much a foul weather or need to carry something vehicle. If I could get away with it I probably wouldn't even own a car or truck.

 

I've already been known to put more than that on a bike in one year..... When I bought my 2014 Yamaha FJR1300 I put on over 5k in the first 30 days of ownership.

Sounds like my son, got his 2020 Taco in late 2019 and is just about to hit 18,000 miles in over 3 years. Understand he has a company car but when in neither, he rides his bike that he conveniently parks in my garage taking up my space. Thinking a small rental fee may need to be assessed.

 

Pretty much. Taco stopped being my DD about 8 years ago. Now is strictly toy.

 

I think I've put about 300 on the truck since September. 5k on the Rav though.

 

Good morning. While we are on the subject of miles, my Taco has about 16,800 after 26 months. My wife's Rav4 has about 16,500 after 32 months. I guess we are homebodies or local folk.
