    I'm running a set of bolt on first gen BAMF sliders.

    There was just a post in the NE Craigslist thread of a set for $400 I think.

    Edit: Here

    You kidding?!! Critter and Steel haven’t taken their shovels out yet so it ain’t gonna snow.
    And, I posted those pretty orange stick things all over my drive, propane tank, water shut off etc…just so I can find them and them in the event.
    So I know it ain’t gonna snow. Even started the snow blower up just in case, ran a bloody chicken foot over it and said a prayer in Latin. NON NIVIS…
    Got a few ghosts out of the house while doing it but no snow…..
    One month left.

    Anyone in SE PA region…. I was quoted $800 for a CMC by a local 4x4 shop here in Montgomery County. And I have the plates already. I was in the service business for many years long ago, so I understand the labor matrix. But I’d swear I have read that on the west coast guys were paying in the $300 range. I don’t mind paying fair labor rate at all, but this seems really steep. Thoughts or recommendations? Thanks in advance.

    $800 is robbery, the 3rd gen is a little more work due to the extra plate needed to cut out but $300 seems more than fair. I’ve done a few 3rd gens if you wanted to drive to New Jersey. Probably wouldn’t have time until April though.

    Snow is more exciting when it gets you out of middle school for a day or two than when you're an adult with a 2WD truck who has to commute to work in it; I am a bit pissed that I didn't get to use the snowblower though...

    That is because you didn’t have gas in the snowblower

    Plus it still needs an oil change, but it looks like it's just gonna sit another year... :(

    @Taco critter

    Should I change the oil in the snowblower, put some gas in it, and run it since it's been sitting for almost a year?

    Alright then, and since it's full synthetic will it still be okay to run it with that oil in it next season?
