Good morning Keystoners. Hung a new microhood for my Dad yesterday after work. Today, taking off @ 12 bells. Dad and I breading up 5 gallons of oysters for the seafood feed@ our local American Legion. Of course, we taste test a couple raw ones lol. Love spending time with Dad, seems like we always have a project! Fine by me. Happy oyster day!

Had my dad help me bring my grille over to the new house yesterday after work. Made some BBQ chicken for the family for dinner with a few sides. Felt good grillin at my new place, can't beat it

Agree, I like oysters. Although my almost 85 year old father won’t touch them. My son is the only one who would do oysters with me.

You are now the King of the mortgage castle….really, enjoy the house and grill your ass off.
I even make pizza on the grill, try it out. The dough is easy to make and it’s lightning fast on the grill.
    Congrats!!!

Nope. I've done more than my share of riding in the rain, no need to do it today.

A few years back I decided to see if I could ride every day for a full year or more. I have a friend here in PA, google Blaine Paulus, who has ridden every single day for 10 miles or more, on the road, for over 20 years. The first attempt I made it 294 days without fail until enough snow fell and stayed that I couldn't safely get in and out of my development. Once that cleared a few days later, I started over. I rode every single day from mid March of 2017 through late January of 2019. 680 days without fail. I made my perfect year of 365 days and a perfect calendar year for 2018. I can tell everyone this was by far the toughest challenge of riding I've ever even tried.

Haha, my company delivers to them twice a week. If you ever see a big white boxtruck with a blue and yellow Stauffer Glove and Safety logo on it, that's us. They've been one of our clients going all the way back to Bethlehem Steel days apparently.

I mentioned tiny spaces (coffin sleepers) the other day. Here is a picture of coffin sleeper bins. Coffin sleepers were originally mounted under the trailer. A lot of drivers died from carbon monoxide poisoning or being struck by road debris. That’s why they were called coffin sleepers. I started driving tractor trailer in my stepdad's 1971 GMC cabover back in the 1980's when I was 8 years old hauling livestock and potatoes in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and up into Canada.

    FB_IMG_1679607378004.jpg

Don't have a picture of his 1971 GMC cabover but this is similar to it. Same color and everything. He also had an old 1958 Autocar we used around the farms and county roads, it wasn't geared for highway. Again, online picture of a 1958 Autocar for reference.
