I may be on the east coast, but I'm a Steelers fan. Only been to Heinz Stadium once, but we won that game against the Cardinals. Think it was maybe 7 years ago.

The inverter feeds any excess power generated above usage directly back through the meter to the power company PPL. PPL banks the excess that we use as needed. When the system is operating you can see the direction of power flow reverse. We'll bank excess now until winter when we'll most likely use more than we'll generate based on # of hours the sun is up in winter. PPL will only "pay" for up to 10% above your normal usage at the end of the year.

Final panels are up, system is ready for inspection. Of course, it will take about a week to get PPL to do the inspection (tomorrow) and then generate the paperwork and complete it. We should be hot by next week this time.

Screw this heat glad I'm home. Not a fan of this heat it's way too soon. Give me spring weather not summer weather. It's reading 92° in my area

I'm the first to put A/C on in the spring/summer but I'm seriously fighting it this year, atleast until summer. I work outside all day so it makes it that much hotter when I keep going in and out of the A/C. I have a love/hate relationship with A/C, I love sitting in and sleeping with A/C on but it makes it that much more difficult to go back outside. You open the door and it's like a furnace. Too many years of driving OTR and living with the A/C on year round to be comfortable. I'd still rather deal with the summer heat than the winters extreme cold and winds.

 

I can't sleep if I'm hot. During the day I'm fine in 90 degrees nonstop, and usually actually turn temps up during the day. At night though, gotta be cold. Half the time I don't run heat at night during the winter.

 

My condenser is still coverd. Like you I'm holding out.
