I think this is one of the most moving photos ever captured when thinking of honoring veterans, especially those who died in service to our Nation. Real photo, captured by Frank Glick at Fort Snelling, Minnesota early one morning. Frank passed away a few years ago but this image lives on.

I'm off work today...got a couple of appointments.

 

Morning folk's! Where is a good place near SWPA to go offroading? I found somebody to go with me, now we (Both with our stock Tacoma offroad's) have absolutely no idea where to go. I'm just north of morgantown, he's by baltimore so something "Near" those area's would be preferable. Looking for something we can make a day out of, instead of driving 3 hour's for a 2 mile road ya know?

You're invited too if you're free Thursday. Atm, our loose plans are to go to Wolf Den, but I'm open to all sorts of suggestions. Both of us (me, 32, him 58) aren't looking to trash our vehicles either.

Maryland, a ways from Pittsburgh I know, but we were planning to camp at Deep Creek Lake and head over there Thursday. Maybe 2-3 hour drive? Dunno if you want to leave early in the am to meet us, camp with us, or pass, Just figured I'd offer an invitation. I'm already meeting one random mofo, Might as well meet 2 lol.

More strangeness going on in my 'hood with Tacoma's. Now there's a guy in a white 3rd gen access cab that was blowing the horn past my house yesterday. No other vehicles around for them to be honking at. I don't know anybody with one of those. These people just like Tacoma's or something and see mine in the driveway? Strange...
