Didn't get to say good morning Pennsylvania. But that was along ass day. I spent the whole day at 1 customers house doing a termite job. Took me 9hrs to do. Finally made it home. Gonna throw some steaks on the grill. No sides just the steaks and I'm good to go.

 

I'm not a FB person , but did ur red truck get hit ? Or is the white one urs ?

 

Finally getting much needed rain. T-Storms passing by in our area.

 

Not mine. There was a chrysler Sebring that rear-ended the white tacoma, not sure what that smashed into. Guy that does regional news posted it on his news page on fb.

Pa weight classes are:
Class 1: up to 5000 $77/year
Class 2: 5001-7000 $105/year
Class 3: 7001-9000 $202/year

The Tacoma has a GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of 5600 pounds and an average curb weight around 4500 pounds.

You can choose to be in a lower weight class or up to the vehicle GVWR but never over the manufacturers rating.

Daily driving around registered in class 1 you are legal, loaded up with just a few people (or the tongue weight of a trailer) can push you over 5000 so it is possible you could get an overweight ticket.

That said I have never heard of anyone getting pulled over for overweight with a small pickup unless they were doing something incredibly stupid.

I have an old F-250 with a GVWR of 8600 so it is in Class 3 but only legal for the 8600 rating from the manufacturer even though the weight class goes to 9000.

Good morning PA. The grandson is returning from a 10 day vacation with a friend's family. They were nice enough to take him and a few other school mates to North Carolina. I look forward to his return. It's been kind of quiet around here although the wife and I did make a trip to a casino while he was gone.

 

Morning Pa. Starting a side job today for our butcher/friend, job is small pole building. Garage on one side, man cave on the other. Gonna make it nice for him. Just starting the rough in today. Happy Saturday all.

 

Good morning Pennsylvania. I'm getting 3 tons of river rock delivered to my house this morning. Have to grade the dog pen and laying down stone. Tired of the dogs tracking in dirt and sand making my kitchen a sand box. My back isn't happy this morning though. But ill get it all done.
