Tony, Sounds like my Dad. Eighty five still cuts the grass, burns wood for primary heat in the winter, still goes to our cabin and hunts. Might be a little slower and takes a couple more breaks when needed but this man is a beast! Dad and my Son in the picture. This was a good day of hunting together. Herd of deer run past my Boy, he shot, they ran past Dad, his 243 barked, finally made it to me, Ruger 30-06 had his turn. We woke up the mountainside that morning! Got off topic a bit but Happy Father's day! upload_2023-6-18_6-51-48.png

Happy Father's day to all you fathers out there. I am not a father so this day is for you gents. Doing a bbq at my sister's house for my father. Let's see if we can keep him away from the grill. Doubtful but we will do our best.
And also good morning my neighbors to the west.

Went to sleep at 4am and was up at 630am. And I'm wide awake like I slept a solid 6hrs. Which means I'll sleep good tonight.

Love the Scout II, had a 1979 IH Scout II 345 V8 4spd 4" lift on 33's. Miss that truck, it was a tank.

I had a 1974 Scout II. Traded it in 77 because the wife was never going to learn to drive stick.

Good morning all! I'm back safe after my insanely long weekend ride. Covered 2365 miles in about 65 hours. Will post some pics later once I get home from work and get them all on my laptop.

Made it to Wisconsin yesterday, hit some rain and warmer temps but managed to get 19.5mpg. I may try and air up to 40 for ride home. I believe the wildpeaks are 51 or 55 psi max. Now got to move my daughter today. 89 is the projected high ! Very nice drive through parts of Illinois and WI. Alot of agriculture and windmills. Seen the Canadian smoke again. Everyone have a great day.

Drive safe and sounds like you'll have some nice scenic routes along the way. FWIW, I keep my tires aired up at 38 psi all year round.

Glad you've had good travels! Once warmed up, I find 39 is a sweet spot to run my wild peaks on the road for a decent ride and good MPG. To northern VA couple weeks ago I managed to get 21.5 mpg!

Stay hydrated moving in those temps.

    :pccoffee: morning all!
